Guess My Halloween Costume!

As usual, I wore a more "creative" outfit than what others would wear for Halloween - not really scary, and really silly. Like when I was a traffic light last year, remember? Let's just say, I had an "amazeballs" costume ;) I don't really like dressing up, but I don't mind wearing something that looks really silly! And if you were wondering, I was inspired by a pinterest picture (and no, it wasn't a kid wearing it...).

This year's costume had me laughing every time I looked in the mirror. And yes, I went to a Halloween party dressed like that. Not embarassing at all.

I had such a hard time walking around, let alone sitting in the car, since my upper body was COVERED in balloons! Yes, I wore my seatbelt. Haha, but I had a lot of fun!

Can you guess my halloween costume? :D I'll share some more pics later :) (follow me on instagram for daily pics: thegentleflower - leave your username and I'll follow back ;) )

I'm linking up over here and here :)

Have a SUPER weekend!
Katrine :)

Ps. Sorry I'm a bit behind on replying to comments. I assure you, I read them all and really appreciate them, and they will be replied to soon. We had our last classes for this semester this week, which marks the beginning of the exam period. So I'm a bit busy at the moment, but I will reply as soon as I can :) Thanks for being patient :)

YOU'RE Choosing The Next Colour(s) and What's Next

I posted about this (these) necklace(s) a few days ago, which you can read about here.

I've crocheted them and I'd like for YOU to choose which colour my next one should be :D

It's crocheted using Egyptian Cotton, so it's silky smooth to wear - and super light too! ;)

I've had a poll going on in the sidebar, and according to that, the most popular colour for the next piece of jewelry to be is pink. I've already made a pink necklace, and some pink brooches, which you can buy from my shop here. So I have granted your wishes :)

The second most popular colour was yellow, and I've made some yellow brooches which you can read more about here, and that you can buy from my shop here.

However, I'd like YOU to choose which colour THIS necklace should be. I want to make lots of them, so please let me know which colours you loooove :D

Click on the comment button, type in which colours warm your heart and send them in :D
Also, if you'd like to see more of something in the shop or on the blog - let me know!!
I REALLY appreciate your feedback - so grab the chance, as I will be granting your wishes :D

And remember: you can win this very necklace, which is black, in the current giveaway - so go and enter!!!

Want An Offer You Can't Resist?

..Want a Wardrobe with a Twist?

Yes, I meant that literally and metaphorically because I have just finished crocheting 3 brand new necklaces called "With a Twist"!

They have a twist to them as they're different and they physically twist!

In the newest H&M magazine, they say that your wardrobe should be more daring. People are too afraid to stand out and tend to express themselves by toning it down.

In addition, many of the clothes that are in style now, are crocheted or look crocheted at least.

What isn't a better way to:

- stand out
- look stylish
- wear something different
- be individual
- support handmade
- wear handmade
- wear what's in style now

...than wearing one of these new necklaces?

This first piece is black - the colour that never goes out of style. You'll be super stylish if you wear a black, crocheted, one of kind accessory to accentuate your bold side.

These fab pieces are crocheted using Egyptian cotton - you can really see how pretty the yarn is because it has a unique shine and glow. It's soft too!

This necklace is a rustic orangey gold. The camera can't capture it's true elegance, as it looks too orange with the flash on, but too bland with it off. I hope you like it!

Finally, here we have it in brown, and below you can really see how it twists - up close.

These three necklaces can be bought by clicking here for the black one, here for the rustic orange one and here for the brown one

for 130 NOK / $24 per piece or by commenting below.

Are you willing to take a chance?

I'll be linking this post up to Vintage Wanna Bee's Talent Tuesday linky party :)

There will be a give away soon, so you'll want to check back ;D
