Hello Monday {Exciting Uni News, My Trip, "Poop" Restaurant, Golf Hat, Bracelets...}

Hello everyone! It's the Monday after returning from our road trip in Canada and the US.

First, a recap of what I've been doing the past few weeks, then I'll share what's happened since I've gotten home!

Hello Toronto, and Canada for the first time evvveer - and lovely view of the city from the airplane. Can you see CN Tower?

Hello Niagara Falls (view from our hotel). Niagara Falls was STUNNING! We went on Maid of the Mist.. and I was in complete awe / wet. If you haven't been there yet - you have to go!

Hello Cleveland! We ate at Hard Rock Café there. YUM.

Hello beach and Lake Erie. This beach was beautiful!! We found lots of pretty rocks that we took home with us :))

Hello Chicago! LOVED this city! Can totally see myself living here one day! (This view is from The John Hancock Tower - amazing view, right?!)

Hellloooo yuuummmyyy hotel breakfast in Chicago. They made the best Eggs Benedict EVER. Ahhhh... Somehow I always manage to get inspired and get the urge to make food whenever I'm on vacation. The food I've eaten has been so amazing, you have no idea! Be on the look out for lots of new recipe posts/ pics/ links :)

Hello uni acceptance letter!!! :D :D I've gotten a reply from the school I wanted to get in to! I haven't gotten a reply from another school yet (where I applied to study psychology), but I think I've made up my mind - I'm going to study International Marketing at the Norwegian Business School :D You can read more about this here.

Hello new turquoise bracelet I made yesterday. I paired it up with a macramé bracelet I made earlier for the picture. Would you like to see either one of these get posted in the store? A Little Inspiration [Friday + Easter Break + Quotes] {instafriday}

So today was the last day of school before a much needed Easter break!!! I can't wait to relax and sleep in! I thought I would share a few instagram photos from the past days (follow me please: thegentleflower)



Yesterday I had a Spanish mock exam. It was really difficult, but I got through it :)
We could choose a task where we had to write an essay based on this quote:

I seriously love the quote, especially since I travel and have moved a lot. I didn't choose this task, but I love the quote.

If you don't understand Spanish, it translates: "He who is used to traveling, always knows that he must leave one day."

On Sunday I got the GREAT NEWS that I've been selected as one of the FINALISTS in the Norwegian Handmade competition, Håndlaga 2012. You can read more about that here.

Finally, I wanted to leave you with another quote, in English this time. I had a huge test on Lord of the Flies today, but the quote is from a poem we discussed in English Literature on Tuesday. 

I really like it, and would recommend reading the whole poem!

The last year of high school is tough.. but I'm actually looking forward to the upcoming exam period. That means I'll have lots of time to study.. and I won't have to listen to my teachers blabber nonsense all day and have to study at home instead because I'm don't learn anything from listening to them. Plus no more mini tests :D Don't get me wrong.. I hate exams. But I can't wait till they're OVER! I think the exam period starts soon after the Easter break is over. Yikes!

Today I thought I would share how to wear our newest product, the Cream White Rosette Ring!

I've been wearing one of these babies since I created them! I'm addicted.

It's perfect for summer, as it has a fun freshness to it. But it's also perfect for winter, as it matches the snow outside, or can remind you of the winter snow in colder countries.

The ring is very versatile as the colour of the ring matches any blouse, dress, pants, etc. of a different colour.

It even matches any kind of nail polish, but I wore a shiny, cream white nail polish to match the ring ;)

I am that addicted to it.
