Things We Forget (Inspiration)

Things We Forget is one of my favourite blogs.

Every day you can see "post-it notes left to their fate in public places". These quotes are inspiring and touching and I love looking through the blog!

Why and How YOU Keep Me Going

I don't have an extremely eccentric wardrobe --

but I spruce up my clothes with jewelry.

I collect rings.

I like strange jewelry. Like for example food on a ring.

I like to wear things that others don't wear.

My jewelry makes me stand out.

Doughnut Ring

I get compliments on my jewelry all the time.

Especially on the pieces I've made.

Simply because they're different.

And people may feel like they can't have it.

Bearrings

It makes me feel special.

But people don't realise, that they actually can have it.

I sell my jewelry online.

And I'd love more customers.

More feedback.

More requests.

More wishes.

More questions.

These things get me going.

Because what people that compliment me don't realise.

Is that they are giving me the greatest gift of all:

INSPIRATION and MOTIVATION.

People are seeing what I've made.

I feel proud.

And it feels great.

Compliments, inspiration and motivation go hand in hand

and I am ever so grateful to all those that compliment me

Katrine's 2011 New Year's Resolutions for The Gentle Flower

1. Blog as much as possible. Now that I've started an online store, I will also be using my blog to write about other things than what I'm making. My goal is to blog at least 3 times a week.

2. Write DIY posts.

3. Get more traffic and sell more jewelry!
 (Psst I made my first online sale on 27th January 2011 :D I am so happy!!)

4. Make additions to The Gentle Flower. I'm working on some new ideas that you will see in the store soon! :) I will also be experimenting with more media and materials... stay tuned!

5. Participate in at least 1 or more fairs.

6. Try to get a shop to sell my products. (---If you have a shop and would like to sell my products - or know of a shop looking for products (like mine) they can sell, please contact me! :D---)

7. Get my children's book published!!!

PS. I've purchased iPhone 4 so be prepared to see some posts that I will post directly from my phone :) I'm really excited!
